The Morgan Academy Deer Hunt secures 40,000+ acres of privately-owned land in the heart of deer country-
the black belt soils of Central Alabama. The abundant cover and browse support a healthy and growing deer
population. Many hunters go a lifetime without seeing the number of deer harvested on this land! Trophy
bucks are killed each year. January is the prime rutting time and the bucks are on the move!
The Morgan Academy Deer Hunt was established as a school fundraiser back in 1972. Friends and families of Morgan Academy donate their time and land to provide wildlife enthusiasts with an exceptional hunting experience. All hunting is conducted on privately-owned land that is located around Selma, AL. Hunters will be placed in various box and tree stands over-looking planted food plots, game trails and hardwood bottoms.
In addition to the hunting, we invite you to join us for some great Southern hospitality... good food, great friends and outlandish stories about the one that got away will make this your hunting trip of the year!
